Paso 1 Removing the back cover
- With the back camera on the top side and facing you, find a notch on the bottom right side of the phone.
- Unclip the cover by raising it up from the notch and sliding a flat rigid tool along the edge.
Paso 2 Revealing the motherboard
- Remove the battery.
- Remove 3 screws from each side with a Phillips 00 screwdriver.
- Unclip the screen by sliding a flat rigid tool between the black and the blue side-band.
- Pop off the blue side-band to be exposed to the motherboard.
Paso 3 Separating motherboard from screen
- Remove 2 black plastic buttons from each side, exposing metallic padding.
- Gently pry the metallic padding off the motherboard with a flat rigid tool.
- Carefully separate the clip-on tabs while lifting the motherboard away from the screen.
- Forcefully separating the motherboard from the screen can further damage your device.
Paso 4 De-Solder the Speakers
- turn on your soldering iron and let it heat up
- Flip the circuit board over and find the speaker connections to the red and black wires.
- Take your soldering iron and head up where the connections are located.
- Take your Solder sucker and suck up the solder at the connection.
- Carefully lift the speaker off of the circuit board.
Paso 5 Solder in the New Speakers
- Take your new speaker and place into the spot where you removed the old speaker.
- Take some solder and add it to the tip of you soldering iron.
- Then use a small bit of solder over the slot and with your soldering iron, solder all the connections back into place.

Paso 1 Battery
- Before disassembling your BLU Energy X Plus, make sure it is powered off.
- Flip your device to the left side facing up and take out the SD card tray using the SIM card eject tool. You will insert the tool in at an angle and lift the tray up.
Paso 2
- Flip your device to the right side facing up and use the SIM card eject tool to remove the SIM card by pushing the tool in the hole. You will feel a button click and the tray should slide out 2mm. You will then use your fingers to pull the tray out.
Paso 3
- Flip your device over so your back cover is facing up.
Paso 4
- Take the blue plastic opening tool and insert it in-between the back of the phone and the chrome trim. Go all the way around the device slowly to take the back cover off.
Paso 5
- Remove the six silver screws from the cover plate, and one black screw from the top.
- Use the screwdriver head J000 to remove all the screws.
- Six silver screws, all 1.5mm in length.
- One black screw, 1mm in length.
Paso 6
- After all the screws are out, lift the protective metal cover off of the phone. Lift from the bottom of the cover.
Paso 7
- Use the small blue plastic opening tool to lift the contact attached to the battery from the motherboard of the phone.
Paso 8
- Use the small blue plastic opening tool to lift the battery from the bottom with little force because the battery will be glued in.
- Then, use your hand to remove the battery completely.
Paso 9 Camera
- Disconnect the contact patch using the small blue plastic opening tool.
Paso 10
- Loosen the camera from the glue using the small blue plastic opening tool.
Paso 11
- After loosening the glue from the bottom of the camera, lift the camera out of the phone.
Paso 12 MotherBoard
- Remove the black screw using a screwdriver head J000.
- One black screw, 1mm in length.
Paso 13
- Lift the black tab on the zero insert force connector on the lower left side of the motherboard using a small blue plastic opening tool.
Paso 14
- Lift the black tab on the zero insert force connector on the lower right side of the motherboard using a small blue plastic opening tool.
Paso 15
- Remove the yellow tape that's on the black panel using your fingers.
Paso 16
- Lift the black tab on the zero insert force connector on the top left side of the motherboard using a small blue plastic opening tool.
Paso 17
- Use a fine nose pair of tweezers to pull the ribbon cable from the zero insert force connector with little force to remove the contact connecter from the motherboard.
Paso 18
- Use a fine nose pair of tweezers to pull the ribbon cable from the zero insert force connector with little force to remove the contact connecter from the motherboard.
Paso 19
- Use a fine nose pair of tweezers to pull the ribbon cable from the zero insert force connector with little force to remove the contact connecter from the motherboard.
Paso 20
- Lift the small processor using a pair of tweezers.
- Then, lift up the motherboard using your hand, lifting from the top of the motherboard.
Paso 21
- Remove the zero insert force connector that's on the back side of the motherboard using a small blue plastic opening tool to lift up the black tab. Then pull the motherboard out of the phone.
- Pull the motherboard vertically to pull the motherboard from the phone. It should still be attached by a wire on the left side.
Paso 22
- Remove the connector wire from the motherboard using your finger nails. You will need to pull from the gold colored connecter, which is attached to the motherboard.
- And, there's your motherboard.
