I have already replaced the reader sim , but have not solved.I have already reset and changed firmware but the problem persists! It may have some defective IC ? You have to check the vcc line which hace between 1.8v - 3v on board In some occasions the SIM reader used a trigger that indicate to the phone that a SIM card is inserted. you have to check the capacitor related.
